Paisley’s National Festival 10 to 20 October 2013

The Spree is back after a successful debut in Paisley last year…and the 2013 version will be bigger and better.

Taking place over 11 days in October, the festival has been designed to wrap around the Royal National Mòd, Scotland’s premier celebration of Gaelic language and culture, which is coming to Paisley for the first time.

With Mòd fringe events also taking place in the town at the same time, Paisley will have a real festival feel, and will be the place to be in October. The bulk of The Spree action will take place in the unique setting of a Spiegeltent  in County Square in the heart of the town, with bigger shows to be held in the stunning 850-year-old Paisley Abbey .

Enjoy some of Scotland’s top musical acts, including a unique combination between Admiral Fallow, The Twilight Sad and the RSNO, plus shows from Capercaille, Donnie Munro and Rachel Sermanni, among others.

Or, have a laugh at one of our comedy shows in association with The Stand comedy club. With book readings, theatre kids’ shows and more also on offer, there is plenty reason to visit Paisley this October.
