Drop in anytime between 12pm – 4pm to the free Wee Spree Arts, Crafts & Science Hub, and join local artists offering simple and fun making activities for all ages. You can also experience the fun and excitement of a trip to the Glasgow Science Centre right here in Paisley, as their on tour team facilitate a number of the Centre’s inter-active, mobile exhibits. Tea, Coffee and delicious bakes available to purchase.

PLAYING WITH LIGHT: make a kaleidoscope
We will work with transparent and coloured sticky paper, and transparent beads to make a kaleidoscope. On the stall, there will be other materials & props that we will ‘switch on’ by using light spots & torches to play with the effects of light and shadow.
Make a Wax Resist Decoration
Come along and decorate a hanging wooden decoration or necklace using wax crayon and colourful watercolour paint to create magical wax resist patterns. Suitable for ages 3+
A fun way to learn the craft of weaving that Paisley is renowned for. Learn the basics of weaving on a circular loom and try different weave techniques with a variety of yarn to create a beautiful piece of art! Suitable for all ages.
It’s nearly pumpkin season so learn how to make super, simple, squishy pumpkins using colourful fabric and everyday materials. No sewing, yeah! Suitable for primary kids + and even younger ones with a little adult help!
Mini – Maker workshop
Autumn is the perfect time to do crafts with leaves and nature. Leaf clay dish is Inspirational workshop for all the family and especially one older kids can enjoy, with opportunities to make a personalised gift or keepsake.
Paint Your Own Pot – Take Home a Plant!
Paint your own plantpot however you like, and choose a plant to pot in it! You will also take home a wildflower heart, to grow your own beautiful plants which help keep our bees alive. Suitable for kids and adults.
Atelier Eva Art will offer two different designs every Saturday. We want to make it interesting for boys and girls. The first Saturday visitors will be able to choose between headbands or keyrings/hanging decorations. The second Saturday we will offer tartan brooches and zip pouches for decorating with fabric markers. Activities are suitable for kids aged 6-10 and over with parent control.
Origami Paper Hat Making – Week 2: Paper ‘Samurai’ Hat
Join in these drop in sessions where you’ll be folding paper to make paper hats. Once you have your hat you can personalise it by decorating it. Age suitability: 5+
