It’s not just about the weekends at The Spree … we’ve got plenty to keep you going on the ‘school nights’ as well (and, of course, actual school is on a break, so we’ve got loads for kids as well).
Ambient house pioneers The Orb (Monday 15 October, 7.30pm) will play The Spree as part of their 30th anniversary tour. We don’t have too many tickets left for this one, so get in their fast…
The Spree for All will make its way to the Spiegeltent where the RockUs Community Choir will entertain you with a free show (Monday 15 October, 1.30pm) – their motto is ‘sing yersel happy’! You can book a place now or turn up at doors open.
The Danny Kyle Stage is a perennial festival favourite, and this year we’re taking it to The Old Swan Inn – one of the best live music venues in Paisley. You can catch new musical talent from 4pm – 6pm.
Our Wee Spree midweek programme starts with Bookbug where you and your little on can enjoy songs, rhymes and stories – still places remaining for the 10am session.
Make sure you get your tickets to see ‘the Hendrix to the Sahara’ – Vieux Farka Touré (Tuesday 16 October, 7.30pm) is one of the most innovative musicians around, and a must-see for fans of world music.

Unfortunately, all our tickets have gone for FUNBOX, but we do have a spectacular Circus Skills Workshop available if you’re looking for some Wee Spree activity. The team from Aerial Edge will be teaching hula-hooping, juggling, tightwire and aerial skills – should be a lot of fun!
We’ve also got a couple more of the popular Bookbug sessions at 10am and 11am.
Gig-goers can enjoy two great acts on one bill with Ivor Novello-nominated English band The Leisure Society and Irish singer-songwriter Duke Special appearing in the Spiegeltent (Wednesday 16 October, 7.30pm).

Fans of Big Country and Simple Minds don’t want to miss Big Minds (Thursday 17 October, 7.30pm) – a super-group featuring Simple Minds bassist Derek Forbes and Mark Brzezicki from Big Country.
We’re all about Gaelic music on the Thursday when Gillebrìde MacMillan and Friends will explore The Paisley Connection and the songs of the Paisley bard, Donald MacIntyre. Gillebrìde will also host a special Gaelic singing workshop for kids earlier in the day – both events take place in Paisley Arts Centre,
We’ve got a really fun collaboration with the Scottish Chamber Orchestra in the Spiegeltent. Inspired by Julia Donaldson’s Room with a Broom, this family fun day is your chance to take part in a musical storytelling workshop, become maestro of our multi-coloured orchestra and join in our magical craft workshop. And it’s free!
