Paisley is looking for new musical talent … could you be just what we’re looking for?
The Spree festival is once again partnering with Celtic Music Radio 95FM to bring you The Danny Kyle Stage – named for the late Paisley music legend who was a champion of new musical talent.
This year, we’ve also teamed up with The Old Swan Inn – one of the best live music venues in Paisley.
The Danny Kyle Stage at The Old Swan Inn will run from 15-20 October.
Acts will play 20-minute early-evening slots (4pm-6pm) on a night between 15 – 19 October. A number of acts will then be chosen to play our showcase event on Saturday 20 October which takes place from 2pm – 4pm.
If you are interested in applying, download a form (click on the link below) and, once completed, send to firstname.lastname@example.org

Acts chosen to play will be contacted to discuss available set times and technical requirements.
The Danny Kyle Stage is organised by Liz Clark, who was a close friend of Danny.
Liz said: “The acts all get a twenty minute slot to strut their stuff. To get on stage people have to be out there gigging and trying to get their foot on the ladder.
“Danny always encouraged people and believed in everyone being given a chance, When he was alive he used to recommend up and coming acts to folk clubs festivals.
“It’s a free event and is always great fun.”
